FIRST APPLICATION (at first signs of tingling, whether visible or not)
5. Apply up to 12 times daily the first 2 days of symptoms, as is convenient. You want to continuously expose the viral particles to Zap-H to disrupt the rapid growth at the infection site, which helps prevent virus replication and keeps the viral load down. Its gentle nature helps prevent irritation, even with multiple daily applications.
Continue to apply multiple times daily. Zap-H™ helps scab healing. Apply until all signs of cold sore disappear.
If started within the first 24 hours of symptoms, sores can disappear with no, or minimal, scabs.
NOTE: Wash your hands before and after you apply Zap-H™ regardless of whether you use your finger or an applicator.
No limit has been determined unless there is irritation, at which point one should discontinue, or reduce the frequency of application.
Only mild, temporary irritation has been reported, mostly with open sores/ blisters. If a higher degree of irritation or rash is experienced, reduce frequency or stop use and contact a health professional.
(PHOTO: Zap-H™ absorbs into skin. Massage any residue into the lip.)
* Zap-H™ is designed for improved absorption to “melt” into the skin, so any residue will disappear (depends on amount applied).

USED FOR:
Targeting skin sores, most specifically those caused by the herpes virus, including cold sores/fever blisters, genital herpes sores and shingles rash/sores.
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY - Apply only on affected areas - Do not use in or near eyes
ALLERGY - May cause local irritation or an allergic reaction, such as a rash.
- If a reaction occurs, stop use and get medical help immediately.
- In children less than 16 years old without physician direction
STOP USE AND ASK A DOCTOR- If your cold sore gets worse or is not healed in 10 days.
DIRECTIONS - Wash hands before and after applying (as above).
- Shake well before use.
- Best when applied at the earliest sign of symptoms, but some relief is noted even with 2-5-day old blisters and/or sores.
NOTE * If you notice a subtle irritation after it is applied, this is most common on open sores but should be short-lived. If intolerable then you should stop using the cream.

STORAGE -
(Room) Temperature between 40° - 75°F (5° - 23°C)
Best not to freeze and avoid heat over 80°F (27°C). The cream contains plant oils. Elevated temperatures will liquify the formulation as it is fat-based and can be temperature sensitive. When exposed to prolonged elevated temperatures, the cream may be slightly thicker after cooling, but efficacy will be the same.
Avoid keeping it in your pocket for long periods of time, or in a car in the summertime.
If exposed to elevated temperatures, allow it to cool at room temperature, or temporarily in the refrigerator, and then shake vigorously before use.
- Keep cap tightly closed at all times.
